The 3'x5' North Carolina Polyester Outdoor Flag is intended to be flown on a commercial-grade 20' flagpole.  This is a very heavy flag intended for medium to high wind.  Printed on 2x2 Ply Polyester fabric using UV resistant inks.  A very well constructed, heavy flag that will hold up to harsher weather.  If you have questions about whether it is necessary to fly this heavier flag please give us a call.  Generally North Carolina doesn't have the heavy winds that require a polyester NC flag, but of course if your flagpole site is the top of Grandfather Mountain, polyester may be exactly what you need.
