8" x 12" Memorial flags with Gold Spear Top and hemmed are used as cemetery flags and for memorial services and parades. Made of 70%-30%, polycotton, these flags that feature a blunted tip and a gold spear top are secured to a natural wood staff with 3 wooden staples. The neat flat cut edges ensure a traditional look. The hemming gives the flag a finished look and the blunted spear top is safer with children than most sharp spear tops sold on the market. 

These 5/16" diameter minis are commonly used in cemeteries but also can be distributed as mini flags at parades or events.  The 5/16" diameter doesn't make it a good fit for grave marker lugs, but they perform perfectly well when sticking them directly in the ground.

If purchasing for a gravemarker we recommend either the 12"x18" Mini U.S. Flag or the 8"x12" U.S. flag, but most importantly, we recommend the 3/8" diameter staff which we offer in both sizes.  A 5/16" staff tends to wobble too much in the gravemarker holder since it's not a good fit.
