3'x5' U.S. Printed Polyester Flag can be used on 6' poles and are very commonly hung vertically from the grommets.  These light polyester American flags are not intended to be flown on in-ground flagpoles.  While they may work fine on a very occassional basis, Tuff Flags would not recommend this flag for use on an inground flagpole.  These flags do well when flown on home mounted flag sets, hung from parade floats, buildings for patriotic events, or other temporary events where the flag is somewhat protected.  These are great US flags with excellent color retention that will last well if correctly used.  They serve the important role of affordably creating a patriotic atmosphere for temporary events.
