If you need to avoid acid rain corrosion, consider a fiberglass pole because acid rain eats away at aluminum poles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>Aluminum<\/i><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">-When using a flagpole in a parade or an event in which you have to carry it, consider an aluminum pole over a fibreglass one because aluminum is lighter. If you live in an area of high wind, consider an aluminum pole because they come in different strength ratings that can be customized to where you live. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">-Lastly, even when figuring shipping costs you should consider how the two stack up.
